About

One brand, one team, one method. Not a marketplace, and not an agency putting you in touch with someone neither of us has met.

A team, not a platform

We photograph under one name, with one method and one price list. When you write, you are talking to the people who will turn up, and the quote comes from us.

The difference shows on the day something goes wrong. An intermediary refers you to the supplier. We have nobody to refer you to.

Arranged by city

Each city we list has a photographer who lives there or works there often enough to know more than the postcards: which hours a place is usable, which months it is unbearable, which corner still looks good in November.

That is the only reason a place page exists here. It is also why there is no page per district and none per suburb — there would be nothing to write on them that the city page does not already say, and manufacturing pages to fill space has a name in every search engine’s guidelines.

Working in English

Roughly a third of what we shoot is arranged in English by people who have never set foot in the country. That has taught us to be specific: not "near the river" but a bench, a corner, a step; not "in the morning" but 7:10, because at 9:00 the same place is a queue.

Everything that matters happens in your language — the quote, the day itself, the gallery.

What we photograph

Weddings are the largest part of it, in the château valleys, in Provence and, for two people and a walk, in the Alps. Around those sit the shorter sessions — couples, families, a proposal photographed from a distance, and company portraits made at your own offices.

Each of those pages says what the session actually contains and what it costs. None of them says it in the same words, because the days are not alike.

What we will not do

Publish a review you could not verify. Show a price that is not ours. Write that a place allows professional photography without having read the rule that says so. Promise a turnaround the workload cannot hold.

Those rules cost us something: our pages are shorter and our galleries emptier than a site that allows itself all of it. In exchange, everything written here holds.

Further

The pricing page has the whole list, and the contact page is enough to start a conversation. If you would rather see the work than read about the method, ask us for a complete delivered gallery — it tells you more in five minutes than any of this.

Questions

Frequently asked

Who actually turns up?

A photographer from the team, based in that city or region. You know who before you book, and that is who comes. We do not hand a booking to a stranger at the last minute.

Why do you cover some places and not others?

A city page only earns its place if someone works there often enough to know its light and its constraints. Elsewhere we travel, quoted at cost, and we say so rather than pretending to be local.

What do you refuse to do?

Anything we cannot hold. No drone work without a real authorisation, no identity photographs, and no claim about filming permissions we have not read at the source.
